Soundbite! Here are the deets-
Seattle SoundBite, a Seattle City of Music event, is unique in that only Seattle musical groups with at least one member working in the food service industry are eligible to perform. This annual pairing of great music, street-style bites, and rock and roll is now in its third year. Proceeds from Seattle SoundBite benefit ProStart, a youth culinary organization, and The Vera Project, a youth music organization. Previous performers have included Helio Sequence, Sunday Night Black Out, Picoso, and Sue Quigley. Participating restaurants have included Tango, Serafina, Cantinetta, Via Tribunali, Red Door and Ray's Boathouse.
Jan 31 2010 - Happy new year! The year won't be so new before you know, to quote ourselves, so make sure to come see a show soon! We've played a ton of awesome ones recently, and we have some awesome ones coming up! In other news, we've obviously applied a much needed update to the website. The big news, though, is that we'll be going to record with Conrad Uno in just a couple of months to start recording a five song EP! We're really excited, so you should be too. If you're not, please report to the nurse's office to get your anti-lame shot.
Dec 22 2009 - In the words of John Lennon - "Have a very merry christmas and a happy new year - Let's hope it's a good one without any fear!" Happy all other holidays as well! To celebrate the holidays, Exohxo has released an EP called Exohxmas with five awesome holiday covers. It's totally free, and downloadable here -

September 13 2009 - We played last night with the Dusty 45s and it was INCREDIBLE! I had heard stories of the flaming trumpet, but it must be seen to be believed. We now have an
online store, a
flickr group, and a bunch of new videos! Go check them out! We're writing and recording a bunch of new material, and we're really happy with how it's turning out. I would say it's a bit more rocking and upbeat, so keep an ear out! Come to a show so we can see your smiling face! Love - Exohxo.

Mar 28 2009 - So we're playing shows pretty consistently now. Hopefully you've gotten a chance to see us. I'm totally watching old episodes of Carl Sagan's
Cosmos right now. How crazy is that? Anyway - if you haven't seen us yet, you'll have plenty of chances to do so. The big news is that we're working on our very first record, tentatively titled
Other Ghosts. Stay tuned for details. If you have a ton of money, and want to invest in a sure thing in rough economic times, hear me now - EXOHXO IS THAT SURE THING!
Jan 19 2009 - I suppose the real news here is that Exohxo exists! Exohxo is comprised of two members of Speaker Speaker - Jasen Samford and Danny Oleson. Speaker Speaker is still going strong, though, don't worry! Our first show is coming up on Jan 29th at the Comet. Go check out some demos we have up on our
Myspace and come out to the show!
